PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The Parade will start at 12:00pm, Saturday June 6th, 2015, rain or shine.
- Registration and Judging of equipment will be held at the Deptford Township Public Works 1702 Route 41, Deptford, NJ 08096. Registration and Judging will start at 9:00am.
- Judging will be conducted by the Delaware Valley Judges Association.
- Any Company or Equipment not registered by 11:00 hours will not be judged. All judging will stop at 11:30 hours, and all vehicles must be in the staging area by 11:30 hours
- All apparatus must be in service at least three months to be eligible.
- Only two members of your company (per apparatus) should be on hand to go over the apparatus with the judges during pre-judging.
- Decisions of the judges will be final. Anything not specifically covered in the general rules will be handled at the discretion of the judges and the committee from the Union Fire Co. who will be working with the judges for information purposes only.
- Trophies will be awarded after the parade, no more than 2 hours after the conclusion of the parade.
- To be eligible for prizes units must complete the parade route in an orderly manner.
- There is to be absolutely no alcohol consumed prior to the parade or in the apparatus at any time.
- Participants of the parade are not allowed to throw candy at any point during the parade.
- There will be no sirens or air horns; this is a quiet parade as it travels directly through housing developments.
- Parking for fire equipment and buses at the end of the parade will be in designated areas, which will be patrolled at all times. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the refreshment area.
